Ugly
Botched vision's left me
Blind to all that is beauty
Inept
The witness to a majestic sight
Horizon suspended at a twilight
Juncture, as first light skims about
In her lucent gown, playing Marco
Polo with Moon's pale silhouette
Translucent
Shadows
Hide
And seek
As the easy
Morning mist
Gently glides
Over sheer
Waters
The melody of songbirds
The harmony of love wisps
Tender through the breeze, a
Crescent Moon greets the new
Day with a delicate smile, and
Slowly retires to his mountain
Retreat
The wakes wash the breakers
Ashore, miracles abound a
Million smiles to erode
Every frown, and yet
Only
Tears resonates my
Heart
Eyes shut to dismiss the sublime
For like the assassin's blade; it can
Merely bleed me, lilies, orchids, and
Roses ornate this synesthetic vision
Divine
Lilacs intoxicate every breath I take
The wakes quietly sway to the sirens'
Serenade
Immaculate rainbows frame the
Prolific
Beauty, alas repulsed I grimace away
In tears for ugly is all my eyes ever see
Without you here to lend them beauty
...
